Community Service and Partners
Partnering for Community Impact
At Rotary Etobicoke, we believe in the power of partnerships to create lasting change in our community. By collaborating with local businesses and community friends, we strengthen our efforts to deliver meaningful community services. These partnerships not only provide essential resources but also foster a spirit of cooperation and shared commitment to making Etobicoke a better place for everyone.
In March 2024, Rotary Etobicoke launched a new partnership with Delta Bingo St. Clair in Toronto. Through this collaboration, Rotary volunteers support the institution, and in return, Delta Bingo generously donates to the club. The only stipulation is that these funds must be reinvested in community services agencies (such as Rotary Etobicoke), with all allocations reviewed and approved by the Rotary Etobicoke's Community Service Committee following a fund request application.
In 2023, Delta Bingo has entered into an agreement with the Ontario Charitable Gaming Association (OCGA) to support charities and not-for-profit organizations that service the community, supporting needs of families, youth, vulnerable individuals as well as arts and culture, education, sports and recreation, and community programs.
Through initiatives like this, Rotary Etobicoke continues to drive positive change and support those in need through collective efforts. You can see here the donation timeline for this partnership.
