Gillian reports that on Friday, February 2, Rotarians and community friends once again braved the bitter cold to fundraise for 12 hours in support of Youth Without Shelter's Token 4 Change Campaign. Working with YWS, Rotary Club of Etobicoke took over the fundraising role at Islington Subway Station.
In spite of the cold our team was determined to raise awareness and to canvass for donations, spare change or tokens to support essential programming and transportation cost for the 53 youth that live in Etobicoke's Youth Without Shelter residence. Big thanks to our Hands-On Etobicoke Team of Greg, Jacqueline, Mary, Billy, Bex, Marcus, Andre, Ron, Lincoln, Moya, Lina, Samantha, Leighton, Theresa, Yarko and Gillian.
