Major Kester Trim (left) presents a cheque from the Rotary Club of Etobicoke for $1,000 to Rosemarie Bryan, the coordinator of The Salvation Army's Community and Family Services in north Etobicoke.
The Salvation Army serves families in north Etobicoke who require food support and other basic needs. Approximately three hundred families a month receive assistance with food and additional support during the holiday season with toys for children.
The money raised by Rotary goes directly to support families in need during the winter months.
