On Sunday, May 5th, for the fifth year, The Rotary Club of Etobicoke provided a team of club members to support the annual Dorothy Ley Hike for Hospice Fundraiser.
Club members conducted the 50/50 lottery and raised a record amount of almost $1,700. Other club members set up a refreshment table at the route's mid point location and served walkers with water, juice, fruit and energy bars and didn't forget water for the many dogs that joined in the hike.
The Dorothy Ley Hike was almost at its fundraising target of $160,000 by the end of this very successful and always popular event.
