Remembering Our Friend Ken Bromley

A note from Lynda Ryder...

Ken was such a wonderful person.

It was my honour to be associated with Ken. His sense of humour; strong loyalty (he rarely missed a meeting); his concern for others (his many volunteer years with the Travelers Assistance at the airport); and his unbelievable humility. One of Ken’s greatest joys was receiving a Paul Harris Fellow. I can’t remember a Ribfest or Rotary auction where Ken wasn’t in attendance.

My last words to him, last Wednesday, were “Ken, you are on door next week” and Ken replied “I’m looking forward to it, it’s my favourite job”.

The Rotary Club of Etobicoke has lost one of its’ very finest.
