Hands-On Etobicoke is back at it - this time providing an awesome meal for the youth at Light Patrol.

According to Gillian Dugas, the kitchen there is so small (almost like a cupboard) that it was fortunate the team pre-prepared the food (sandwiches, cookies, and pasta!)

Here is what two huge trays of pasta, 70 sandwiches and 250 cookies looks like:

pasta and more for Light Patrol Youth

The note from Gillian to the group....

Yes, it was great and so delicious.    Andre and I came home with two huge trays of pasta to bring to Light Patrol this morning and the wonderful smell drove us crazy - we did manage not to eat any but were very tempted.

We got up at 7 a.m. this morning and have just finished 70 wrapped tuna and egg sandwiches and bagged over 250 cookies.    Now we are loading the two pasta trays and other food into our car to take over to Light Patrol.        We have taken some photos for our website.

Thank you to everyone - it was the best of Rotary and Yes, We Can......    We can really make a difference with our Hands-on Etobicoke work.

Thank you Theresa for the grocery shopping.           Gill
