Dorothy Ley Hospice

On Thursday, May 18,  Rotary Etobicoke's Community Services Committee was pleased to present a cheque for $1,000 to Dorothy Ley Hospice to support their annual Hike for Hospice fundraiser.    Melody Courtney, Senior Fund Development Officer, was very grateful to receive our financial contribution and commented how important and active Rotary Etobicoke is in our community.  Melody confirmed that with our cheque the total amount raised for their May 2017 fundraiser was $115,000. Hands on Etobicoke also provided a 17 member team of volunteers to assist at this important community fundraiser and Rotarian Mark's team raised another $1,000 doing a 50/50 lottery during the event.
