CSC is proud to have donated $2000 to FEET for FEAT - Fostering, Empowering, Advocating, Together in support of children affected by parental incarceration. Jessica Reid, the founder of FEAT for Children and consistent Toronto Ribfest volunteer has walked from Queen's Park to Ottawa to raise funds and awareness for the past 2 years. This year she invited others to participate in a relay and we were happy to help. The relay started from Queens Park on World Mental Health Day, Tuesday, October 10th 2017. They raised over $15,000 in total and had about 70 participants at the beginning and another 100 along the way! The attached photos are of Laura Latham delivering the cheque and of the FEAT bus that takes children to visit their parents. Rotary Etobicoke also sponsored the purchase of the bus.
