In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday, Hands on Etobicoke team of Gillian, Andre, Samantha and Lincoln made and delivered bags of assorted cookies and decorated cupcakes to Ernestine's Women's Shelter, Anduhyaun First Nations Emergency Shelter, Nekenaan Second Stage Housing Shelter and Salvation Army Kipling Temple and extra cupcakes to Youth Without Shelter.
Khajija Kathy Ali, Ernestine Coordinator, Engagement and Volunteers received the items from Gillian while standing in front of the portrait of Ernestine who inspired the first women's shelter in Toronto.     Jannies Le, Program Coordinator received the bags of cookies and cupcakes on behalf of Nekenaan and Anduhyaun Women's Shelters.     Rosemarie Bryan, Coordinator at Salvation Army Kipling received 30 bags of goodies and distributed to clients ahead of Sunday.
