Rotarian Alice Otupiri is passionate about helping children and spends half the year in Ghana running the Comfort Stars Athletic Club for inner city at-risk boys and girls ages three and older.  Comfort Stars is situated at La-koo, a suburb of Accra in Ghana. Comfort Star's objective is to instill in the children a sense of self-worth and to encourage them to realize the potential they have to become responsible citizens and future leaders of their community. This is done by helping the children to stay in school. Since good quality education in developing countries is difficult to come by, funds are being raised by Rotary Etobicoke to support Alice's work and the children.

Please Donate Now online through CanadaHelps and select the "Comfort Stars" project to support these children who are determined to make something of their lives.Image
