Children are back at Silvercreek Park
Last year, Gill and Andre visited the Silvercreek children's park, the playground was empty of children, the equipment was broken and derelict. Something needed to be done to bring life back to this playground, bring the children back. Gill and Andre members of the Community Service Community got the club involved and the children are finally back.
During Rotary Etobicoke's last fiscal year provided funding to assist in the renovation of a playground in Silvercreek Park. This project updated and rejuvenated the existing children's playground area in Silvercreek Park and it's playground structure. We, together with a few other organizations and individuals helped to create an area that is safe for children between ages of 18 months and 12 years and one that stimulates creative and active play.
LAUGHTER AND PLAY HAS RETURNED!
