2022 New Member Induction Ceremony
After a delay due to COVID, on July 11th, the Rotary Club of Etobicoke held its New Member Induction Ceremony. The ceremony occurred during the Annual Change-over Meeting at the Etobicoke Yacht Club. Four of our six new members could attend: Liam Hancock; Alp Tanatmis; Latitia Webley-Lester, and Sha-Asia Wilson (Safia Ahmed and Shadae Wilson were unable to participate).
Membership Chair Lynne Wallace and President Sharon Lee organized the induction. District Governor Iosif Ciosa conducted the Induction Ceremony, and Past District Governors Lynda Ryder and Michael Bell presented them with their Membership Certificates and Rotary pins.
The other Members in attendance greeted the new Members. President Sharon Lll thanked Lynne Wallace and April Esteves for all the hard work in recruiting and interviewing all our new Members. They did a great job. Lynne wanted to mention that they had the first meeting of the newly formed New Members Committee was held at her home. She was encouraged by the enthusiasm shown by the new members, and thinks this will be a great opportunity to get them fully engaged in the Club.
