Major Daniel Tupling - CAF Retired
Remembrance Day Presentation

Oldest son of an RCAF pilot, Dan Tupling lived his first 20 years on Air Force bases around Canada as well as in Germany & the USA. In 1971 he began his military career at Royal Roads Military College and over the next 42 years served as a Logistics Officer in a wide range of communities, jobs & environments including Army Field units, an operational flying base, the Airborne Training Centre, the Canadian Armed Forces' largest Supply Depot, the national support office for the Junior Canadian Rangers and a dozen other positions in National Defence Headquarters (NDHQ). In 2013 Major Tupling retired  in Ottawa where he continues to live happily with his wife, Alice, who continues to bring joy, beauty & wonder into his life after 35 years of marriage. Their 30 year old daughter, Zoë, has temporarily ceased her globe trotting to pursue her ambitions as a policy analyst in NDHQ.
