2024Beaujolais Fundraising Celebration! It is a tradition! The annual Beaujolais Fundraising Celebration hosted by the Rotary Club of Etobicoke. An evening when we come togther to raise money for a dissaster around the world. This year all money raised will go to the victims of the devastating 1000 year flod in Spain. Over 200 people have lost their lives. An evening of Wine, Music, Delicious Food, Exciting Raffle Prizes and Silent Auctuion. This year we will have a special wine tasting! Neil, our distinguished sommellier has curated 4 reasonable French wines for us to taste, two white and two red wines. We look forward to this special tasting! $100 per person includes wine, meal, taxes and tips. This is an over 19 event.

For the second year, Rotary Etobicoke is excited to participate in the Santa Claus Parade at Lakeshore, bringing joy and holiday spirit to our vibrant community. 🗓 Date: Saturday, December 7, 2024 🕗 Setup Time: 8:00 AM at Area A15 (refer to the attached map) 🚶♂️ Walkers Check-In: 9:00 AM sharp 🎉 Parade Start Time: 10:00 AM 🚧 ROAD CLOSURES - 9 AM: • Lakeshore Blvd West (from Dwight Ave to 37th Street) will be closed starting at 9 AM. Please plan your route accordingly. 🍬 We’ll be handing out candy canes and spreading holiday cheer along the route. 👕 Dress Code: Please wear warm layers and check the weather to stay comfortable. Ron has recommended, for ease of accounting, to collect $33.00 per attending member. We will be discussing this increase at our next board meeting.

This February 22nd, club members, family, and friends will be walking and fundraising for the incredible Haven on the Queensway, an organization that provides vital support to individuals and families facing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in Etobicoke. You can support the team online or join the walk in person! We kindly ask each walker to consider donating a minimum of $20, as we aim to surpass $1,000 in donations. We are grateful for your donations! Thank you so much! The donations will be made directly on the Coldest Night of the Year website. |
