On February 26, at Old Mill, we will have Ms. Nancy Hartry as a keynote speaker.

Biography: Nancy Hartry is the author of two picture books, Hold On, McGinty! and Jocelyn and the Ballerina. Nancy finds inspiration for her stories in the antics of her children and her larger family, as well as strangers who have no idea that their quirks and foibles will find their way into books. Watching Jimmy grew from her short story “Thunderbird Swing,” which appeared in Secrets, published by Tundra Books. She is currently writing another novel, inspired by her short story “Fore,” which appeared in First Times, also published by Tundra Books. When Nancy is not writing stories, she works as a lawyer. She lives in Toronto, Ontario.

You are invited to a special District 7070 celebration of International Women's Day! We have invited some women who have contributed significantly to Rotary and have powerful stories to share about their unique Rotary journeys and making positive changes in their clubs and communities.

We look forward to hearing from

Sonam Choeden, Deb Murray and Lynda Ryder!

They will inspire us to make magic happen by getting involved and leading!

Women continue to be leaders and change agents in District 7070 and Rotary. Join us for an evening of conversation, motivation and fellowship!

District 7070 is incredible because of the many "Women of Action" who work passionately and tirelessly to make "magic" happen locally and globally!

"Where there is a woman, there is magic." (Ntozake Shange)

Join us for a conversation, inspiration and fellowship with some of the "Women of Action" in District 7070

Thursday, March 6, from 7-9 p.m.

Cost: $17. Light refreshments will be served.
